Motorcycle and scooter riders across the world are encouraged to take to the roads and Ride to Work on International Ride to Work Day, to promote the benefits of commuting by motorcycle or scooter and to show other commuters just how easy and convenient powered two wheel travel is. Benefits include cost and time-savings, with less traffic congestion and hold ups, plus of course the enjoyment factor for the rider!
On International Ride to Work Day the whole biking community comes together with events taking place at venues.
The International Ride to Work Day’s goal is to show the public and politicians the number of two wheeled vehicle riders consisting of people from all demographics, how having more riders decreases traffic and the parking space needed, and that two wheeled vehicles are not just for fun, but are also a great form of transportation.
